The Pittsfield NH Community Center
The Pittsfield Post Story
Created by a volunteer committee: Nan Adamson, Gail Allard, MaryPat Christakos, Liz Dimmick, Jessica Drouin, Bob Giegerich, Lois Giegerich, Denise Grattage, Donna Keeley, Bill Miskoe, Martha Moloy, Minnie Plante, Lisa Savage, Leslie Vogt, Diana Westgate, and Clayton Wood. Publication began in November, 2019.
The Post volunteers work together to bring the people of Pittsfield bi-weekly news about our town. No matter what your age, talents, or interests, you can contribute.
Do you enjoy examining sentence structure? You could proofread the rough draft. Want to learn more about Pittsfield, its businesses, and goings on? You could become a roving reporter, or regular columnist. If website, or digital design are your thing- we’ve got that, too. Want to support communication? Help send out the email edition. Is there a topic you would like to read about; you could recruit some to write an article. Do you enjoy driving and visiting local businesses? You could help deliver the paper edition.
Individual tasks are manageable; and by working together we have fun creating the Post. To learn more email pittsfieldnews@pnhcc.org To coordinate our activities the Post volunteers meet at 10am on the third Monday of the month at the Pittsfield Community Center, or weather permitting the town beach on Clark Street, anyone curious about the Post is welcome to attend.
